About Varka
Varka is an upcoming playable character from Genshin Impact. He's the current Grand Master of the Knights of the Favonius and bears the title of "Knight of Boreas" in connection to one of the Four Winds. You can read more about him here.
He was first mentioned in voicelines all the way back in Version 1.0 and now only exists as an NPC as of writing this, but will soon become playable around Version 6.3!
How I found this character
I was minding my business on Youtube when I saw the teaser for Genshin's Luna II update in the recommended videos section. Mind you I haven't played Genshin in years, so I realized something big must've been shown up for it to leave the community and end up on my feed. I got curious enough watch it and I was like...oh my gah...
I can't say I'm 100% happy with his design, but I'll take what I can get! I've been waiting for him to show up for so long (since I first joined back during Version 1.2) and now he's right around the corner !!!
Why I like him
He's so kind and silly, and he's pretty too...teehee. 
Compared to the toothpick builds and baby faces the other Genshin guys have, this is what I've been fawking waiting for. Seriously speaking, he's got a good head on his shoulders and I love how he's portrayed as a goofy dude who knows when to be serious. He cares alot about others enough to put himself second in any given situation without hesitating and he's really good at boosting morale when things seem to be going south. I just think he's neat!

My headcanons
• He subconsciously rubs the bridge of his nose with the back of his thumb when he's deep in thought.
• He initially started shaving his beard because it annoyed him, but now he does it to hide the gray hairs.
• He's got a bit of a gut from his drinking habits.
• When someone's talking to him, he'll unconsciously chase their face so he can keep eye contact.
• Groans when doing literally anything: sitting down, getting up, literally just standing, etc. because hashtag old man energy.
• Rarely thinks about settling down because he's so busy all the time, but I feel like he'd really love to one day.
• Bisexual as hell, idgaf what anyone else says.
